I was invited to be the editor of the journal up to the end of 2021 following the death of the founding editor. I agreed to help-out whilst the journal was relaunched on a new web platform so it has a stable legacy. I oversaw the editing and publication of two final issues to honor the founding editor and publish an outstanding special issue on Baudrillard and Religion. After this the journal was in abeyance due to lack of funding and resources (the journal was previously self funded by the founding editor – Gerry Coulter). From 2025 onwards the International Journal of Baudrillard Studies was no longer funded by Bishop’s University in Quebec to have an URL there. Consequently, the journal website content is now archived using waybackmachine internet archive and can be accessed from 05/01/2025 onwards here Archived International Journal of Baudrillard Studies.
